Activity 2.3 – Biosphere and Interconnections
Chapter 4 Concept Map: Chapter 7 Concept Map: Chapter 8 Concept Map: I created concept maps starting with the primary topic I had learned for 3 different chapters. The main topic will be at the top of the map, this is considered a Hierarchy style. The chapter 4 map breaks down the Sun and how it creates energy. The sun creates four major categories for Energy: Potential Energy, Kinetic Energy, Mechanical Kinetic Energy and Thermal Kinetic Energy. I then break down each energy into subcategories. For example, Potential energy creates Nuclear Potential Energy, Electrical Potential Energy, Chemical Potential Energy, Gravitational Potential Energy, Compressed Gases, and Elasticity. These are the subcategories that overall create Potential Energy. The same structure applies through the rest of the map. Chapter 7 concept map is a breakdown of biodiversity, I was able to include the kingdoms within our biodiversity, the reasons as to why it is important and levels of organization. Biodiv...
