What I Most Look Forward to in My Environmental Science Class

Our earth has always intrigued me but how our society impacts the sustainability of our earth concerns me. I look forward to acquiring knowledge about climate change and how i can help contribute to prevent our earth from perishing. I am excited to gain more insight on pollution control, as i know 'fast fashion' is one of the top polluting industries to our environment.

Chapter 4 Concept Map: Chapter 7 Concept Map: Chapter 8 Concept Map: I created concept maps starting with the primary topic I had learned for 3 different chapters. The main topic will be at the top of the map, this is considered a Hierarchy style. The chapter 4 map breaks down the Sun and how it creates energy. The sun creates four major categories for Energy: Potential Energy, Kinetic Energy, Mechanical Kinetic Energy and Thermal Kinetic Energy. I then break down each energy into subcategories. For example, Potential energy creates Nuclear Potential Energy, Electrical Potential Energy, Chemical Potential Energy, Gravitational Potential Energy, Compressed Gases, and Elasticity. These are the subcategories that overall create Potential Energy.
