Activity 2.2.1 – My Daily Water Use

 

My Daily Water Use was calculated below:

1. Using my last three months water bills, i added each months gallons then divided it by three months to get the average per month.

1480+1502+1461 = 4,443 / 3 months = 1,481 gallons/month on average. 

2. I divided the average household water use per month by the number of people in my household. 

1481/3 = 494 gallons/per person/per month.

3. I then divided the average gallons per person, per month, by 30 days.

494/30 = 16 gallons/per person/per day.
